If our country’s infrastructure report card was brought home by one of children, we’d start rescinding their privileges and immediately exploring ways to improve. Everything from energy, to levees and dams, to roads, wastewater, hazardous waste and drinking water all came home with very poor grades.
This eye-opening report was issued in 2013 by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and includes individual report cards for each state. It lists key infrastructure areas, their current grade, and what needs to be done to raise those grades by 2017 according to ASCE.
